the least i could do the rest the soul of the first superstar of Bollywood - Rajesh Khanna - to rest in peace is recollecting the films I saw, the fantastic songs [with great combo of Kishore da and Panjim] I heard [listening to his songs are still a mind relaxing thing]
In my younger days at Delhi we saw this superstar movies like crazy and can any one forget the great films like Safar, Kamoshi, Anurodh, Andaz, Aaradhana, Amar Prem to mention a few
He was the contemporary of big B and their combination in Anand and Namak Haram was the talk of the filmdom then. The magnimity of Rajesh is well identifed when he told Amitabh , I am up and my superstar regime comes to an end with yours to start - did he not say that right to see Big B claiming that status a few years later.
Our sympathies are with his bereaved family and I am sure all of you would join me in my prayers to God to rest Kakaji's soul in peace.
Will we get yet another superstar with his style, delivery of dialogues, dance etc I wonder.
